Three suspects caught in the murder of Rehoboth Joseph Deshi already in Custody
On 18th February 2024, at around 09:20 a.m., the Durum outstation received a distress call from Abubakar Shehu, reporting the discovery of a deceased young man in a bush on the outskirts of Kuhu village, Bauchi LGA. In response, a patrol team from the C Division swiftly proceeded to the scene and evacuated the body to ATBU Teaching Hospital in Bauchi for medical examination. The victim was certified dead by a medical doctor. Subsequently, on 19th February 2024, at approximately 07:00 a.m., another distress call was received from the same location, reporting the discovery of a second corpse in the same area. Once again, the patrol team, led by the DPO of the C Division, responded, and the body was taken to ATBU Teaching Hospital. No physical injuries or marks of violence were observed on either of the bodies. However, the second victim had punctured eyes.
