The Adamawa State Civil Service Commission wishes to clarify concerns raised by applicants holding the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) regarding the ongoing recruitment exercise. Speaking on behalf of the Commission, the Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Abubakar Umar Maiha, assures all NCE applicants that there is no cause for panic. His Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has directed the Commission to create a separate recruitment window specifically tailored for their qualifications. According to the Civil Service Commission, out of 96,102 applicants, 52,003 candidates were deemed eligible to proceed to the next stage. The Commission cited the following reasons for disqualification: 1. Candidates with NCE qualifications not part of the initial process 2. Wrong applications with mismatched fields of study and qualifications 3. Overaged candidates 4. Incorrect document uploads 5. Non-indigenes of Adamawa State 6.
